The Four Supreme Angels Or Beings

Allah created the Throne to show His Power. It is carried by four angels, and on the Day of Judgment, it will be carried by eight. The Prophet said he was permitted to speak about one of these angels who carry the Throne. In describing this angel, the Prophet told us the distance between his ear lobe and shoulder is the distance a fast-flying bird would cover in 700 years. Then the Prophet ascended beyond Paradise. He reached a place where he heard the creaking of the pens used by the angels who are copying from the Preserved Tablet. It is at that location Prophet Muhammad heard the Kalam of Allah, which is an attribute of the Self of Allah. He heard the Kalam of Allah which does not resemble our speech--so it is not something that occurs bit after bit. It is not letter after letter or a word that comes after another word. Rather, it is an attribute of Allah which is eternal and everlasting. It does not resemble our attributes. The Kalam of Allah has neither silence nor interruptions. It is an attribute of Allah, and it does not resemble the attributes of the creation..

Experiences a descent of Power on touching the feet of Sri Aurobindo; considers it the true significance of pranam.
Sees a vision 'in which four beings appeared at the four comers of an immense plateau' and spoke to her. Sri Aurobindo identifies them as the Vedic Gods Mitra, Varuna, Bhaga and Aryaman. Visited by an artist friend, Johannes Hohlenberg, who takes a photograph of Sri Aurobindo in standing profile and also paints his portrait in oil.

The Hippie Movement:Part2

THE MOTHER'S AGENDA:April 2, 1969

But yesterday I saw one of them, a Frenchman who works in Auroville and who's been very much in touch with the people of this new "pop" music (you know, this new music movement that goes with the hippies). He's the father of A., who was born in Auroville.
Yes, I am going to see him for his birthday. <110>
He came to see me and have me hear this music. [[It was by the Rolling Stones. ]]
How is it?
Odd ... It's barbarian.
Barbarian.
Barbarian, but my impression was, "The barbarians of the new world."
(Mother laughs) I'll hear a little on the 16th when I see him.
Those who make this music have millions of followers. They are people with a huge fortune, and with cinema, radio, television and everything at their disposal. And they are right in the middle of a revolution.
How?
Yes, as I told you, the barbarians of the new world. The entire old world is swept away. It's really the beginning of something, which expresses itself in a very barbarian way, but which is something. So this boys idea is to try to get in touch with those people and turn them towards Auroville. Because, of course, they have millions and millions of followers - they have a tremendous power (power over the masses). And they have something, but it's barbarian.
I'd be interested to hear some once, so as to know ... but I don't need to hear a lot.
That's what I told him.
I need a few minutes of it.
Exactly. He wanted to have you hear it for an hour!
(Mother laughs heartily, silence)
I've often wondered what's the true attitude towards all those people who come and see me ....
You could be in meditation. (Ironically) You'll make a reputation for yourself as a sage!
And when I speak with them, very strangely, there's a sort of warrior in me, and some people give rise to reactions: I feel like striking. Sometimes it's quite brutal, I don't know why. It comes and strikes. With others, on the contrary, I am very tranquil. Some tell Me, "You're hard!" ...
Has it always been like that? It's not since this new consciousness came? Since the beginning of this year?
Last year, too.
Because I've noticed that in this Consciousness there is something like that: suddenly it comes, oh! and it feels like striking.
Especially when I contact mental pettiness.
(silence)
The people who play this music, are they the same who take drugs?
Yes.
Then it must be in the vital.
Oh, it's quite vital, no doubt. But they have the perception that the world is in the midst of a revolution, that we're moving towards a new world, and all the old conventions have to be swept away. There's no conformity of any sort. They're open to everything.
Open like that (horizontal gesture), not like this (vertical gesture).

Mahakali's Waves

"Whatever comes from above can come like that in waves – whether it is Light or Force or Peace or Ananda. In your case it was the Force working on the mind in waves. It is true also that when it was like that, not in currents or as a rain or as a quiet flood, it is Mahakali's Force that is working. The first necessity when it is so, is not to fear."

Bande Mataram

Bande Mataram

Mother, I bow to thee!

Rich with thy hurrying streams,

Bright with thy orchard gleams,

Cool with thy winds of delight,

Dark fields waving, Mother of might,

Mother free.

Glory of moonlight dreamsOver thy branches and lordly streams,

Clad in thy blossoming trees,

Mother,

giver of ease,

Laughing low and sweet!

Mother,

I kiss thy feet,Speaker sweet and low!

Mother, to thee I bow.
Who hath said thou art weak in thy lands,

When the swords flash out

in twice seventy million hands

And seventy millions voices roar

Thy dreadful name from shore to shore?

With many strengths who art mighty and stored,

To thee I call,

Mother and Lord!

Thou who savest, arise and save!

To her I cry who ever her foemen drave

Back from plain and sea

And shook herself free.
Thou art wisdom

, thou art law,

Thou our heart,

our soul, our breath,

Thou the love divine,

the awe

In our hearts that conquers death.

Thine the strength that nerves the arm,

Thine the beauty, thine the charm.

Every image made divine

In our temples is but thine.
Thou art Durga, Lady and Queen,

With her hands that strike and her swords of sheen,

Thou art Lakshmi lotus-throned,

Pure and perfect without peer,

Mother, lend thine ear.

Rich with thy hurrying streams,

Bright with thy orchard gleams,

Dark of hue, O candid-fair
In thy soul, with jewelled hair

And thy glorious smile divine,

Loveliest of all earthly lands,

Showering wealth from well-stored hands!

Mother, mother mine!

Mother sweet, I bow to thee,

Mother great and free.

Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) And Gabriel

Gabriel
According to 'A'ishah and others, the Prophet saw him in his true form only twice, as is indicated by the Quran: "this is naught but a revelation revealed, taught him by one terrible in power, very strong [i.e., Gabriel]; he stood poised, being on the higher horizon ... He saw him another time by the Lote Tree of the Far Boundary" (LIII, 4-14). The first vision took place at the cave of Hira', during the revelation of the first verses of the Quran, the second during the mi'raj.
According to another account, having seen Gabriel in his true form, the Prophet fainted. Regaining consciousness, he said, "Glory be to God! I did not know that any of the creatures were like this!" Gabriel replied, "What if you had seen Israfil? He has twelve wings, one of which is in the east and the other in the west. The Throne rests upon his shoulders, yet he shrinks because of God's tremendousness until he becomes like a suckling child."
